bad front rotors?

how do i know if i need new rotors cuz im changin my pads

nah it doesnt it just sounds like grinding bc my pads r too low that the safety pin is scraping

You are either supposed to shave your rotors or replace them every time you change pads. If the wear tab is making noise, there's a good chance it dug a groove in the rotor. Then you'll need to change them.

your supposed to get the rotors turned every time you put new pads on. otherwise, if the rotors are scored it will put uneven wear on you new pads, thus making the life on your pads much shorter. its cheap to get em turned, $5 each around here.

If there is gouges in them or they are below the minimum thickness they should be turned or replaced.

You replace the rotor is the lateral runout is too much.

just buy new rotors, they are really cheap and save you some time. new rotors are like 15-25 bux. resurfacing them cost 10-15
