Default Map sensor.

ok guys heres the deal i got 91 ef hatch that was dpi converted to dpi

ls/vtec swap. and the throttlebody im using is an ls tb that doesnt have the spot for a tb mounted map sensor to bolt on. but it does have a vacuum port there.

so what im really asking i guess is can i still use the map sensor on the firewall and just run a hose to that port?

Run a hose from that port to the ef purge soleniod on the firewall. It's the same location for b16a swap. Does it bog up and down. If yes that port serves a purpose. If it doesn't then cover it to prevent vacuum leak.

motor isn't in the car yet finishing reassembling it now just got it back from the machine shop. and realized my so called suppose to be ctr tb that came with my ctr head and manifold is wrong and believe its a gsr. All i know is i mic my ctr and my LS tb and the LS is about 3-4mm bigger hard to tell with this ghetto caliper i got. so i was gonna go with it but it didnt have that spot for the map so i wanted to do the research befor i start porting my LS tb.

If your running obd0 you can use your firewall map, If your running obd1 you need map that mounts above the throttle body

Like undertaker said, you need to see if it serves a purpose. If not cap it off!
