Sorry if it has been covered, but I searched with no luck.

My blower motor is making an annoying hum and I think it needs to be cleaned out and or replaced. I own a 1992 Honda Civic SI. I have the glovebox out and the crossbrace out of the way. I see a multiple amount of bolts. I do not want to take out what I don't have to. I have misplaced my shop manual, so I am posting here for help.

What bolts do I need to remove?
Does anybody have any schematics?
Does everything need to come out?
Has anybody had this issue as well?

The blower motor also only works on the #3 and #4 settings. I think that is just the resistor though. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Just curious as to what your outcome was. Did you find out the source of the noise? My 94 DX has an annoying blower motor hum/buzz whenever I run the heat or AC. All 4 settings work properly for me, but just wanted to see if I could find out what exactly is causing the noise before thinking about replacement.
