Default Windshield Wiper motor replacement

How do you replace the window wiper motor on a 97 honda civic. I unbolted everything and it still won't come out. I don't have a manual and wanted to ask before I go a buy one. Thanks.

what exactly did you undo, the arms or the motor itself? They're probably stuck in from rust or age, try pulling on them gently.

I first took off the arms then took off the bolts to the motor itself. I'm pretty sure it's just a pull out and replace kind of thing, but for the life of me, the motor won't come out. I just want to know if I got all the bolts out. If nothing works, I will just go buy a repair manual. I need one anyways.

So you removed the wiper cowel and loosened the four 10mm bolts that hold the wiper assembly to the car? Did you also unplug the huge electrical connector? If you've done these things, you can just pull and wiggle until it comes out.

Before you remove the linkage, mark on the motor and linkage so you can line them up later.

If the wipers seem to work backwards when they're all hooked up, it's because the linkage is on wrong.
