Default Smoking blue on Decel only?

Hey.. a friends car is smoking on decel only, no during accell, idle, cold etc.. Just on decel after he does a WOT pull or is just driving without letting off for awihle (highway driving).

Car runs/starts fine, does use much oil. Engine recently seen nitrous, but smoking problem was consistant before/during/after.

Whats the problem?

i thought on decel that would mean valve seals. its been a while since ive been into troubleshooting cars though. memory is fading too.

Likely valve seals. Decel/cruise is when engine vacuum is highest.

i believe don is referring to oil control rings.

though if it is valve seals you would see it on cold starts

This happens a lot, from what I have seen it is a problem with rings, out of round or damaged cylinders. Or all of the above.
