so i have a 98 honda prelude and it was pretty much in good condition.. nothing wrong at all with the engine. until there was a leak because of a missing bolt but we fixed that. so ever since then.. vtec sometimes doesnt kick in, it doesnt happen a lot. maybe like 1 out of 10 times or like once a day it won't kick in. i don't kick vtec every5 seconds but it just seems to not hit once then it'll be fine the rest of the day. I was thinking i need an oil change? i'm not sure, because the only problem we've had was a small oil leak. i'm not so sure.. any help would he helpful thanks.
