if your 93 civic hatchback already has rear disc calipers w/ 9.4" rotors, the ep3 rear calipers will bolt on (as well as rsx rear calipers). the ep3 rotors are 4X100 & are 10.3" (rsx rotors are 10.3" also & can be used as well, but must be re-drilled to 4X100). they must be installed left-side on right & right-side on left. you will be unable to bleed the rear calipers unless they are flipped upside down off the trailing arm. the itr uses similar size caliper/pad/rotor spec

unless you've swapped out your knuckles on your 93 civic hatchback, you probably have DX knuckles w/ 9.4" rotors (which can be found on 88-00 civic). you can always swap out your knuckles from: 94-01 integra, which use a 10.3" rotor and a 17CL14VN caliper.

you can also upgrade to the the itr caliper, stamped 17CL15VN. the 17cl15vn caliper can be found in junkyards (+97 preludes, accords, tl, rl, legend, cr-v, vigor, etc). it can be bolted on to DX knuckles using 10.3" rotors (which can be sourced from 90-01 integra, 90-91 civic ex, 99-00 si). the itr caliper uses a bigger pad (bigger than the 94-01 teg). once you obtain the 17CL15VN caliper, you'll need to seperate the caliper from the bracket (stamped 23T or 25T). the bracket will need to be sent to a machine shop where 2-3mm (or 1/8) must be milled (where the bracket mates with the knuckle). great upgrade, no alignment or knuckle swap, cheap & easy to find replacement parts. dollar for dollar, best braking power & low-budget killer. the milled 23T allows you to use the integra type-r, nsx & legend gs 2-pot caliper as well.

since more fluid is required to push the piston, you'll need to upgrade your master cylinder from a 90-91 civic ex for your 93 eg hatch
