RSX EP3 rear disc brake upgrade
my FIRST technical post... courtesy of my bf
rear disc brake upgrade for a 94 eg hatch.. enjoy

finally realized a good upgrade was needed when the damn car rolled backwards down a hill
it's pretty much a direct bolt on, only thing is that the calipers must be switched left and right becuase the RSX's brake cable is on the bottom instead of the top. and u'll need to bleed the brake when the caliper is off the car and flipped over since the bleeder screw ends up on the bottom.
here's another good write up:

details, per requests
:
Parts: calipers, brackets, EP3 4x100 rotors, and pads.
Prices: calipers (brand new) $120 a pop+ core charge, rotors $60 each, pads $20 for set of PBRs
Difficulty: on a range of 1-10, 10 being the hardest, it's a 4. it's pretty much bolt back on what u took off. just a little tricky bleeding with the calipers off the car.

yep, that's the way to go. i was about to ask about your front setup. i have the same rear setup on my car right now, with stock 99 SI front's. if i slam on the brakes, the rear's will lock before the front's. this will be solved this weekend..
where did you buy your calipers from? you could have just pulled them off a car at the junk yard in hayward. that is where i bought mine from, $100 for the pair!
