Default ek suspension

so im deciding right now on what suspension would be best for a ej8 set up i had
kyb gr2 suspension setup with ebay coilovers and i hated it..it was very very stiff no bouncing at all plus the shocks went bad within months so now im goin to upgrade my budget is around $700 what would be best for my ek coupe

i found on my ej8 sedan that KYB AGX's and H&R Sport springs are a great combo. The ride quality is excellent with no harsh bounciness and the car is still low enough for my tastes.

for $700 i'd get some illuminas and a spring at a height you like. Preferably H&R, tein, eibach, neuspeed, etc.

Illuminas will have a lifetime warranty, not to mention they're great.

Just make sure you read the fine print first, I believe they don't cover warranties over 2" drops.

Koni's/GC's also make a great combo

mine came with a two year warranty and omniman always seems more than willing to honor that.

Then they've changed their policy since I last looked. Good for them. Though for my personal preference, in a market where a similarly priced object has a lifetime warranty vs. a 2 year warranty, I'll spring for the lifetime warranty.

Plus Koni and Tokico have been around A LOT longer than omni considering.

2 years isnt all that long, some people want to know that their part has a company that stands behind it, and with a 2 year warranty on a shock most people won't get that feeling when they see 2-3 others that offer lifetime warranties and are tried and true.

Just my pennies.

i don't disagree with you. but people still seem bent on wanting omni/ksport/pic/f2 sets so they might as well go for the ones with representation rather than the one that will truly leave them hanging. omni and pic seem to really want to help make their company look better than many others which i respect.

With $700 I would look in the Marketplace for some used Omni Coilovers or the infamous Koni Yellows and Ground Control set up.

Good luck.
