Best coilover for EK for less then $1000
I have an EK coupe with a worked b18c1 swap. Right not I have blues with tein S-techs and my shocks are blown badly. I want something with a pretty high spring rate, I like my suspension stiff. My budget right now is $1000.
P.S. Where are some good websites to by coils from?

I've also heard nothing but good, so it's up to you. Also, i've heard the top hats are pretty important, but that would put you a bleieve a $100 over your $1000 budget.
I have neither but i'v heard lots of good things about both.

Re: (p2592b)
if i can do it again, i`d go with custom koni/gc`s. tein`s rates just aint cutting it for me, even with the RA`s. don`t go for a suspension setup that would cost you a lot that you wouldn`t have any use for. higher rates regardless of what everyone says it would ride on rails, would ride shitty on a bumpy road

top hat's are only really needed if you want to dump the car and need the extra suspension travel.

I hope this is a joke. I've heard so many stories of these ching chong ksports blowing out in just over a year, right after the warranty period has elapsed. Funny how that works, isn't it?
Yellows + GC's are the way to go. Do it once, and do it right.

Koni Yellow and Ground Control without a doubt. I have Tein SS's, and I like them, but for the same or less price, the Koni's are way better.

I like the way my GC coil overs and KYB's are I think it's all a matter of personal likes/dislikes

I like my Omni power tylites, a bit stiff for most people, but they handle well for the cost, if you have a grand to spend you could go with the GC with koni yellow... they seem to have a better REP... my friend has tein ss and loves them, read all you can and make the choice

who has the 380/450 gc setup? I am worried that they will not be stiff enough. Are there any coils with a lifetime warranty other then koni/gc

I heard of Koni yellow/GC setups make noise and may be annoying for a DD street setup.
Is that true?
Does anybody have an opinion on the new Skunk2 full dampening adjustable coilovers?
Thanks
Brian
