Default Deactivating ABS ????????

Hello, I have a 1995 Civic Ex that is having ABS issues, I was told that I can deactivate the system by simply removing the ABS fuse, is this true and is it safe? if not what is a good route besides removing the entire system?

I have a 95 civic EX and it don't have ABS.....

But whatever, yeah you can just remove the fuse and the ABS won't do anything at all.

1995 Civic EX coupes came with and without ABS. The 1995 EX sedans all had ABS.

If the OP needs to know what fuse to pull, he can look in the FAQ for this section. There will be a link in there for fuse diagrams for all '92-'00 USDM Civics and del Sols.

Other than NOT having ABS, no it won't effect anything.

Just note that when you do use the brakes with abs or without you have to pump when you break hard without or your brakes will lock, my 99 EX had them but 95 CX doesnt and everyday use is no different

When you have ABS you apply steady pressure to the pedal. Without ABS you pump the pedal. I think you might have tried to say that but I'm not sure......

I went ahead and located the fuses for the ABS, now do I remove all fuses related to the ABS or only a specific fuse?
