fuel guage trouble

Default fuel guage trouble

if I put my jdm cluster in my fuel guage does't work,,,but works fine with the usdm cluster. anybody else have a similar issue..mine is a 97 itR if it matters

I really apreciate your help, but I did try my original green film the usdm cluster, so I guess what I need to understand is if I need a gsr 94-95 obd1 film

You tried swapping the green film from the USDM cluster to the JDM cluster?

yes I took the one off my original cluster and tried it on the jdm cluster, I think this is why I'm so confused the other threads that seemed to work...I am flustered to say the least!!!!!!

change the udsm green film on the back of the cluster with the jdm one.

Read the thread before posting please.

Could be a bad gauge. Swap the JDM fuel gauge into the USDM cluster and see if it works.
