My car is dieing and when it is on it idles under 1,000. the most recent thing i have installed is a high flow cat but I didnt put the sensor in cause it wouldnt fit, could this be the reason (i'm going to fix tomarrow?? Another thing I was thinking was that it could be my battery because my lights flicker and window barely rolls up.

Well its not supposed to be idling over 1000rpm. Probably somewhere closer to ~750rpm. How is it exactly dying?

Get your battery tested for free at autozone. Also, im guessing youre throwing a CEL because your 02 sensor isnt plugged in?

 

it seems like its stalling because the idle is so low it hits about 0.
