i just installed a new shift rod on my 96 integra and trying to shift from gear to gear is really tough.. i have to use alot of force to move the shift around.. when i installed the rod it was really close to the other shift bar ... could it be a possibility that the bars are rubbing causing this to be hard...??

please give me some help
