Default Stroker Kit/Turbo build

I have a 92 prelude with jdm h22. I was planning on putting in a 2.49l stoker kit with 9-1 compression with future plans to turbo. Also a buddy of mine doesn't think that h22'a can be bored out without sleeving them....any truth to this? Also positives/negatives please!

^they cant be bored out because of the FRM sleeves. IIRC they can only be overbored .010". but thats it.

i'd save the money from the stroker kit and put it toward something better, there are plenty of high HP 2.2L H22's

either way you would need to sleeve it for the pistons, whether the frm could be or not

Just curious why you want to stroke it? I just think the money for a stroker kit could be spent more effectivly elsewhere

use a h23 crank. aftermarket rods, and malhe h22 pistons.
not 2.49l but still better

for boost?

h23 crank, h23 rods, custom piston

the stock block can be overbored .025"

adding displacement, stroke...etc will spool the turbo faster.

So I can bore the stock block then, and just build with h23 internals pretty much?

Just do an 89 x 95mm and Turn up the boost!
Sounds like someone needs to do alot of research....
