Better dampers
Can anyone suggest a good company to get suspension from with quality vs. price in mind? I'm willing to spend $800 and there are soooooooo many companies to choose from.
TEIN is definitely good, if you are gonna lower it you will need to get a front and rear camber kit, i dont believe TIEN makes camber kits, so skunk2 would be the best bet..with the camber kit you'd be about $200 over budget...
you can get koni yellows and GC coilovers for 780 shipped... and you pick the rates for the springs. the best setup for the money i think... if your interested ill give you the info.
As usual, the OP didn't give us an application. Is this going to be a street car or an autocross car or a road race/HPDE car or what? If it's a street car, you don't need to spend that much money to make a big difference in your daily commute.
If you aren't tracking it and don't need height adjustability I always recommend tokico illuminas and some H&R sport springs.
It's a mild drop, and you can still adjust the dampening to your preference. Plus the shocks have a lifetime warranty.

Tokicos + Ground controls (adjustable) or even non adjustable springs will do you great for the street. Gives you a sporty feel without losing too much ride comfort.
