I got my head gasket changed last week, the mechanic got the milled a little as well. I got th car back and now i have no VTEC. since i have the Hondata S300 i tried different VTEC points and still nothing. the car never switches over.

Why would this happen?

 

vtec solenoid not plugged in?

 

yea deff check to see if it is pluged in and that the plug is not broken

 

they used a non vtec gasket your are fucked..

 

check your radiator and see if there is oil in it. it will look like choclate milk.

they may have used a wrong head gasket of intalled the correct one backward.

 

mighta put it on upside down

 

if the gasket was on upside-down he'd be leaking oil between the head/block

 

yeh there is no oil between the head and the block, the VTEC solenoid seem to be plugged in . and there is no oil in the radiator.

how ever they did put on the head gasket wrong the first time, and they had to start over. Oil was leaking from between the head and block then.
