Default blue smoke on jsm motor!

k basically only put 4000 miles on this motor since i swaped it and now ive had a friend fallow me arround for a while aftr someone told me i had been blowin blue smoke. well wat we found was every ounce in a while very rarely after getting on it a huge amount of blue smoke comes rolling out but in one substance and then no more. clear as can be? non even after 5 min. of more driving. weve seen this happen about 3 times now. any ideas why? jus fyi ive changed my oil weekly because i get it very very cheap from friends shop. unessesary but still nice to have not had oil turn black on me.lol

because it is a constant vacume source for your crankcase. if it is bad then oil will get sucked past the valve and you will smoke.

Pinch the hose (going to pcv valve) with vice grips (AFTER wraping where you're going to pinch with a towel to dapen the vice grip's grip). When you close the line, vacuum stops and the vacuum operated switch closes and you hear a "click". If you block line and hear no click, it was never open in the first place indicating its clogged. They are part of "regular" maintenance so if it hasn't been changed, chang it anyway.

The valves (PCV) are cheap so that would be a cheap quick replacement to try to solve your problem.

u could probably just clean them couldn't you??? (pcv valves) edit*

PCV valves are cheap. Get an OEM one.
