I have a 93 accord lx with a 94 prelude si motor in it(h23).I just installed the knock sensor and its throwing a code 1,2,6.I'm stumped because I don't know how this happened?what can I do to fix this problem?

 

Does your ecu even know how to sense a knock sensor? I though knock sensers were not put into play until 96 and on Hondas.

 

Yeah, the h23 has a knock sensor, but the f22a ('93 accord) does not. So, if you still have the original ECU, then it doesn't support a knock sensor. What connector did you plug into the knock sensor, then? It wasn't a knock sensor connector, since your old motor didn't have one.

 

Yea the knock sensor code went away but now I have a code 1,2,6.
