i have a customer wondering if his cam gears and his injectors on his prelude h23 head will work if he does a h22 head swap will the injectors and cam gears work on both??

The Injectors from the H23 are 240cc I believe and if the H22 is OBD1 the injectors are 345cc.

Skunk2 lists different Cam Gears for the H23 and H22, so I would assume other manufacturer's do also.

92-96 h22 are 345ccs
97-01 h22 are 290ccs

all h23 are 240cc's i think

your car WILL RUN LEAN WITH h23 injectors.

yes we are a shop but we are just getting into selling honda and acura parts we usaually deal with chevy and ford so we wanted to make sure we have the right answers for the customer thanks though

 

The cam gears are also not compatible.

H22 = 42 teeth
H23 = 40 teeth

 

Also, H23 gears are the same as B-series gears (except the 3rd gen Prelude B-series).
