throttle sticking
My idle isn't bouncing(or hunting) and I just cleaned out my IACV just to make sure, but when I let off to come to a stop sign my throttle will stick at 1000-1200 rpms. After a moment it will either go down or I can pull the pedal up with my foot to bring it back to the normal 750. I have checked the cable where it connects to throttle body and it's tight, but not tight enough to keep the butterfly from completely closing. Has anyone ever had a throttle cable stick somewhere else(like in the firewall) or can I adjust the pedal spring?
The cabl has a covering all around it except at the ends by the pedal and the throttle, so I wouldn't think it was possible for it to stick anywhere within the cable. Maybe loosen the cable at the TB a little more ans see if that helps...
You could also clean the inside of the TB and the throttle plate itself because I bet it's pretty dirty.
