Valve Clatter under normal acceleration
Guys,
I just picked up a hatch that has a poor man type R swap. Under normal acceleration, I'm getting some valve clatter.
I noticed the settings on the VAFC were taking a lot of fuel out in the low RPM range (-20%). The car currently has a set of RC 380cc injectors. I increased the fuel to -5% and it seemed to help the problem but there is still some slight clatter here and there.
Any ideas on what can be causing it?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
I'm using 93 Octane

please take out the VAFC and get the ecu chipped and tuned. VAFC are out of date and are the best way to harm the motor.... My guess is its the VAFC that is not tuned right and its hurting the motor
^^Thanks for the input.
I plan on removing the VAFC as soon as I have the cash to purchase Hondata. It was installed on the car already.
I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something else mechanically that could be causing it.
