Ok, like title says, I cleaned my FITV and tightened the valve on the inside. It was 3 turns loose
and I cleaned my IACV today and I put everything back together, still idles at 2k. I unplugged the TPS sensor and it dropped, plugged it back in and idled at around 1500 for 30 seconds and went back to 2k. I reset the ecu, let it idle for 10 minutes and was still at 2k. I let it run and loosened the IACV and it just went up and down in RPM's like it should, I did what the CHILTONS said, and that was just to let it idle till oper. temp then take IACV off then it said if it drops and goes back or something to check for bare wires???WTF??? Anyways I have no clue what to do now. Car is a 95 ls/vtec with a 94 gsr head, chipped ecu.

Mine runs at 2k all day, and randomly it will start to go up and down from 1k-2k. Throttle body gasket looked good when I took it off yesterday. Also replaced my vacuum lines, the old ones were window washer fluid lines

Ok, so I checked all my vacuums and got new lines, cleaned both FITV and IACV, replaced TB gasket, still idled at 2k. I used a squirt bottle and sprayed it on my intake mani where it meets the head, and it sucked it right up. So I need a new IM gasket, rapped it up earlier and popped the gasket out from between the head and intake mani and now it's idling at 4k! haha, gonna pull it tonite and goo it up.
my 1st question 2 u is did u take yur fitv valve apart? my 90 integra was hold 3k rpm until i took apart my fitv apart ,there should be 3 8mm bolts on da side, inside of it there should b a door bell shaped part inside make shure its screwed in all the way ,yours probley unscrewed all the way out & its letting air 2 bypass the fitv which made mine run like that .because da idle runs off iacv & fitv. if the fitv dont get hot enough it wont let your idle go down, plus check the hoses on the fitv 2 make sure there not cloged.this had me taken all kind of **** off lookn at all kind of **** for 4days ,i found that out on this site .5easy minutes of work& 4 stressful days of bullshit.so try it & let me now what happened
