Did I go overboard with my clutch selection

I bought a Competition Clutch Stage 4 Strip Series 1620 kit at Nopi for a good price but I'm worried it might be overkill for a semi daily driver with occasional drag use. I'm shooting for ~230whp.
Here is a link to the CC website - look for the Stage 4 - 1620 kit
http://www.competitionclutch.c...sport
Here are my engine buils specs:
B18b block sleeved and bored to 84.5mm
Crank girdle with AEBS main studs
Balanced, chamfered, polished crank
ATI crank damper (on its way)
Eagle rods with ARP bolts
CP 12.5:1 84.5mm pistons
Alaniz Competition VTEC head
Skunk2 valetrain
Type R valves
AEBS 68mm throttle
Edelbrock Performer X intake
BPI stack on 3" piping
Hytech replica header (selling for SMSP)
2.5" custom mandrel piping into Magnaflow resonator and Vibrant muffler
RC 370cc injectors
Hondata s300
Skunk2 Stage 2, Skunk 2 Pro 1 & Buddy Club Stage 5 (haven't decided)
Del Sol hydro tranny with 4.78 final
What do you guys think? Anyone rockin this kit?

For your setup i think its a good choice, its gonna be snappy but not too bad for street youll get used to it. make sure to post dyno sheets and results when you get this thing goin
I have been wating for this kind of thread for some time. I have been through 2 of those exact clutchs since January and maybe 400 miles. The clutch was very graby and chatterd when cold but not for an allmotor car.
Clutch #1: The disk was bent, one race w/ 3-4runs
Clutch #2: The PP only had one out of three rivits hold it together and the disk material was chewed up.
Solution for me was to purchase a different clutch(twin disk) for a different company.
The shock from taking off from an allmotor car is different from a turbo car is my guess why they didn't work for me.
O yeah I have 240+whp car and 160 of torque
Be ready to replace the clutch because it won't last long.

Well i'm guessing I'll be close to you in HP but All Motor revs are gradual compared to turbo which come on all at once and strong so maybe that was your problem.
Anyone else with experience?

Ran a Exedy stage 1 for two years, all the time running the dog **** out of it. I was running a 75 shot-o-gas on 'er too! Bolt-on'ed b16 though, so no torque when I wasn't on the gas.
Those stage 4's are hard to drive at first, but you learn to love them. I enjoy my friends 4 puck unsprung. Feels very nice! I don't reckon its overkill, but I would have went with something a little less aggressive.

that clutch should be fine gor the setup. i use a stage 3 comp clutch on my itr motor for daily driving and i love it. its really grabby but its great. the clutch u chose is like the max imo for street use.
