Do any of u guys know whats the average 1/4 mile of a stock b16a2 in a stock EG coupe??

 

high 15's to low 16's
ALOT depends on the driver.

 

I agree, but wouldn't the 92-95 coupe run a bit better than a high 15?

Doesn't the EM1 Si/SiR run a 15.7-15.9 with the B16A (160hp)? And the car weighs 2612 lbs (apprx). Maybe the older coupe will run a mid 15 with the weight advantage (particularly the dx trim)?

 

well im running a high 15 in my coupe (my sotck exhaust is KILLING me above 7000)
a mid 15 is easialy attainable, but for the rest of the car stock (intake, header, exhaust) dont get your hopes up on a mid 15. (but my car is a beefy heavy bitch )

 

My friend was running 15.3 in his 97 4 door with a 2000 B16a2 swap. It was only his second time at the track. He could have got his times down a little more with practice. He has exhaust and intake. The car is a little lighter than some though, no a/c, no heatercore. The weight was 2450 with the driver and full tank of gas.

 

I ran 14.6 in my friends stripped 95 EX.
Motor was completely stock.
Had some drag radials
Unbolted the muffler

 

Nuff said. I've seen as bad as a 16.7 in a 5th gen hatch, gutted

 

i'm hitting mid to high 15s w/ my setup, i'm running on shitty clutch and full interior. i think i can hit lower times, i just need more practice. The worst time i've seen was a 94 civic coupe w/ stock jdm b16a hitting low 17s. peace

i got intake an exhaust ...my friend with an si can run a 15.2 at the track with intake headers exhaust intake cam and cam gears...i can beat him once in awhile with just intake and exhaust ....so thats low 15's..almost stock...full interior

 

Wow, my brothers completely stock 93 Si ran two consecutive, 16.4s his first time at the track... This would be the bloated pigmobile complete with spare.

 

Ouch guys..something is seriously wrong. my Eh2 runs 15.6 at 1500ft with D16z6 I/H/E. I was thinking about saving up for a b16a but now i donno.

 

come on guys... a 93 si has the d16z.. not the b16a... and the b16a is alot better than the d16z.. just compare the numbers.. 160 hp and 111 lbft compared to 125-127 hp and 106-107 lbft stock.. oh yea the stock 99-00 si should run about 15.7+ thas what they say in the mags.. but...

you all are getting CONFUSED
the eg HATCH is ALOT LIGHTER than the EG COUPE.
thats why a civic si (eg with d16) will run a high 15. it runs a high 16 in the civic ex.

 

I ran 15.6 in my stock Si

 

15.3 here with my stock b16a2 swap.

 

Just check the sig. Although this is in a hatch. It is essencially a stock B16 with the usual bolt ons, and alot of practice.

It really depends on the driver i guess. I hit 15.9 with my 95 EX when it was still bonestock......

 

ej1 + d16z6 = 16.4 @ 82mph (stock)
ej1 + b16a = 14.9 @ 92mph (stock)
