bfg dr's fitment?
ok i need to get a set of drag radials for my 5th gen, and im thinking the BFGoodrich g-Force T/A Drag Radial 2 cause i cant find anything else comparable. and the only size for 16's they come in is 255/50R16.
the rims i have are 16x7 with a 49 offsett. now i was wondering if i were to get those tires would they badly rub on the inside cause the offset is so high? any advice appriciated. thanks

Suspension height and wheel spacers will be the 1st KEYS to this.....
I thought they made 245/50/16's but I could be wrong.....
Before going through the craziness of trying to get HUGE 16's to work(that will affect your acceleration) I would look into some cheap 15's with 225/50/15's. Thats what I am currently running.

I have 225/50/15 on my stock Si rims. It looks weird though... I can check to see if they make any other sizes in 16" tomorrow. I am pretty sure they do make more sizes.
How weird does the 225/50 look on stock 4th gen wheels? I assume just a bit wider and all, but not too much more than stock, especially compared to slicks. I am planning to do this, but am concerned I will have to raise my car back up a bit to fit, since it rubs at full lock on 205/40/16 with like 48 offset, so I assume the offset is the main issue, since stock fit fine no rubbing.

Drag Radials won't look that TIGHT though....
These are 225/50/15 DRs on 15x6.5 Rotas....as soon as these are cooked, I will be upgrading to a 15x7 wheel. I couldn't find 15x7 Slipstreams to save my life when I got the 6.5's.

Yes, just buy a pair of 225/50/15's......
I was going to run 245-255/16's DRs but for Track Use only.....Theyre going to stick out about an inch on each side. H&R makes 5/10mm spacers and I was going to get ARP extended wheels studs.
I think at this point I would just be happy with 225/50/15's mounted on a 15x7 wheel.
Need to save some money for the SLICK setup.....MH 23's and some badass wheels!
