Default greddy oil catch can

so just ordered a greddy oil catch can and i know what it does, but is it really a waste of money thus rendering it redundant, or is their actually a small performance gain by trapping as much oil as possible from going into the intake?

as far as ive heard, only good for boosted cars, where there is massive amount of pressure in the crank case/valve cover area. oil likes to blow out of the crank case breather then. thats what ive seen in the past at least. its not gonna hurt anything though

thanks for your .02, and i do plan on boosting in the future so i guess i didnt really go wrong. when i install it i will monitor how much oil is really getting into the intake so others may know if it really does anything for a n/a setup. thanks again!

Yes, please keep us updated because I would love to know because I completely tore apart my b18c and found tons of oil around my TB and IM. It was NA, but then again my motor did blow, bent a few valves and my bearings were almost nonexistent

a catch can is almost useless on an NA setup unless you have a high comp motor. adding the catch can on NA will decrease your vacuum and decrease the ring seals inside your motor which can be very bad.

get a catch can if you plan on doing a lot of racing or in you are turbo/sc
