i got a 07 civic lx sedan and i want to install a strut bar. what kinds are there and how much do they cost on average?

 

there is one i believe, a v-brace (i dont think thats the right name), although i dunno where to get one.

i think that most people have come to the conclusion that the front of our cars are pretty sturdy and do not require a strut bar.

 

well this one time i had the car on park. i opened the hood and looked at the engine. i kinda rocked the car back n fourth a little when its on park. the engine was wabbling back n fourth.

 

I think it's supposed to move while the engine mounts absorb the movement. If the engine is rigidly attached to the chasis, you'll have serious problems.

 

the strut bar goes on the strut.. not the motor mounts.
your engine shaking a little bit is not only normal, but a strut bar wont stop that at all.
