whats the difference between a honda civic del sol and a honda civic del sol SI? I dont know what i have but it looks pretty damn cool lol. oh and the driver side door wont open from the outside, but it will from the inside. i have no idea how to even take it apart to look at it. im sure someone out there knows an easier way to look at my door handle without taking the whole door panel off....and if that person is you then please..... heeeeeeeeeeelp

it opens from the inside just fine. it just wont let me in from the outside.....crawling in from the passenger side is starting to get really uncool. and no my name is from kia...its from Twisted Metal

 

dont be lazy and take the door panel off. Unless you wanna get an xray machine, how else would you be able to look in there?

 

the exact same problem has happened to our 97 4 door lx. Just haven't gotten around to taking it off. Don't be lazy and do it. Buy a chiltom or haynes manual asap.

You're crazy. The door panel is the easy part. You may have to remove the latch and exterior handle. Have fun. I'd give it a good hour and a half if nothing is snapped and you take it apart carefully.

 

are ou serious? taking a door panel is like 4.67 minutes. lol

Yeah, read carefully and you'll see I said 1.5 hrs for a latch or exterior handle uninstall.

 

ok ok ok, i'll take the panel off, the door has just about as many problems as it could possibly have. the outside handle is broken(and doesnt work), the inside handle is broken(but still works), the guy that had this car before me put speakers in the door that are too big and dont fit. so i guess ill just try to take the panel off once i get ALL the parts to fix it. but off this topic, its missing the fan control ****. only one ive seen on ebay is $40!!!! wth. anyone know a better place to get replacement parts for a del sol?
