B16 wiring harness fit d16y8?
i need a d16y8 wiring harness and this guy chippy says it will fit but i want to know for sure....he said that only difference is that some of the connectors are longer so it fits the b16 but it will fit the d16..is he right? please help

The Y8 harness fits the b16 fine, just need to lengthen a couple wires. Good luck finding a Y8 harness for a decent price nowadays though. Most are going for 200-250 on ebay.
I just bought a Y7 harness instead for 50 bucks and added the vtec wiring myself. Might need to find the connectors if you don't have any from your old harness.
If you have the y7 harness already in your ride then just save yourself the money and add the vtec and knock sensor wires. Should be 3 wires total you need to run. You'll also need to switch the IAC connector to a 2 pin connector instead of the 3, but you can use the wiring already in place and leave the orange wire off.
