Generally on a stock h22 you wouldn't want to see more then 8000 rpms.
Most of the stock h22 setups I have tuned stop making positive power passed 7600 rpms. A revlimit of 7800-8000 rpms would be ideal.

Concerning vtec engagement, the usual area is 4800-5000 rpms.

I didn't say... You WONT find anyone, I said good luck finding some one.

I don't see anything on locashes website that lists him chipping p13s, I am sure he might do it but I don't know why you would want to when hondata, neptune, crome, uberdata etc... do not support the p13 ecu.

Regardless, locash has been around a long time & he does good work.

I am not picking a fight with you, I was mearly offering a suggestion to the original poster. If I **** blocked you on a sale, then I appologize. Joe can alter the p13's just fine. It is an often overlooked option for people doing the H22 swap into an EG/EK. Not everyone plans ahead for Crome/Hondata/Neptune...etc.

I do not feel **** blocked by your suggestion. Like I said locash does good work from what I have heard.

I can also chip a p13 for a customer if needed, however I do not offer this service as the p13 code is not really supported by any romeditors.

In my opinion the $150 for chipping the p13 versus selling the p13 for a hondata/crome/neptune compatible ecu is a better option for 90% of the people out there. Why? 90% of the people out there end up wanting to run cams or other bolt ons and eventually get dyno tuned.

But hey, what ever floats your boat.

I suggested Locash as an option... that is all.

Now you chip p13's? Make up your mind... Why didn't you speak up sooner then?

Yes we know who you suggested.

I said I could if I wanted to. I don't publicly offer it due to the tuning limitations of the p13 platform with aftermarket eprom editors. If a customer insisted upon using a p13 I would attempt to talk him/her into another tunable solution instead. If I had to I could chip a p13 etc..

Back to the original topic... If you have any other questions feel free to ask away

Very intelligent response. If you had stated this first rather than to contradict wether or not Locash could do the work then we wouldn't be wasting readers time.

Did I ever specifically state anything about locash racing not being able to chip a p13 ?

No:

I assumed the original poster wanted a tunable ecu solution, not a limited p13 chipped platform, hence my original response.

Perhapse you should get a "locash chips p13s" tatoo on your forehead lol ? JFWU

Dear mtber,

I am sorry that I made a suggestion that you do not offer for your customers.
The original topic title is "h22a chipped ecu", perhaps someone reading this would be interested in chipping their "H22 ecu". Who would have known? I obviously should have read the original poster's mind that they were talking about the later mentioned p28 ECU.

I appologize for making you state that you chip the lowly p13 ECU, since they are not supported by other tuning software.

Clearly, I had no right to comment or suggest anything in this post without checking with you first.

Please accept my humble appology.

2point6

PS. perhaps you should suck a dick! JFWU

disable the knock sensor in the ROM. (P28 doesn't have the knock sensor ability)
other than that leave the rest enabled.
