JDM H22A Redline/Fuel Cutoff
I've read differing specs on the net, can anyone tell me with certainty what the redline & fuel cutoff for a 1995 JDM H22A is ?
Thanks!

Yup 8500 on my chipped ecu adn even took it up to 9000 a few times to test it out but it felt like it was not makeing power after 8500.

I wouldn't take it up that high. I'm 99.9% positive the stock redline set by Honda is either 7200 or 7400.

Your lucky you didn't blow the **** out of your motor if it was stock. I hope you don't regularly take it up that.

Couldn't have said it better myself, but with the stock JDM P13 (obd1) it's 7400 rpm.
By the way, you might get more information about a particular engine if you post in the forum of the car that it originally came from. Posting here you'll just get us old folks giving you hearsay and fairy tales.

Took it to 8500 often and never had a problem all I had was intake, header, prodrive oil gear and exhaust. Ran it on slicks and street tires reving it to 8500 no problem.

Ever put it on a dyno and take it up that high? I'd like to see if you were actually making any power at all past 7600 or so.

IF you are running a stock jdm p13 ecu----it cuts at around 7800
a stock usdm p13 ecu revs to round 7500
some people have said that their stock jdm p13-ecu's go to 8000 its just tach error

Re: JDM H22A Redline/Fuel Cutoff (H22EKHATCH)
This might explain things, I'm still using my 98 RS Integra cluster. Should have the face on my first passenger when I took it up to 7500+, he almost jumped in my back seat LOL
