i've finished addin the brake and clutch pedals, shifter and all.
but i'm havin a damn hard time puttin in my tranny. i put in my clutch and flywheel also, so all i gotta do is mount the tranny to the engine block.

Try using a little floor jack and a couple sets of hands. It's how we did it on my Civic this weekend, and it's tranny is heavier than that of an Accord/Prelude. It'll take a little pivoting and tweaking to line it up right, but it should work out for you.
is that a 1.8 or 1.6 civic?? ive worked on stock civics, and those tranny's are not even close to being as heavy as an accord/prelude one. the gsr tranny isnt too heavy either. best way to get the tranny in is to take out the rear mount and passenger side mount. use an engine lift, or some hands and get the tranny up a bit. its easier if you have someone underneath pushing and moving the tranny around. took me about an hour to get the tranny back in my h22 accord.
Well, I was taking Dave's (4doorH22) word for it that my tranny was heavier than his H22's. Mine's a B16 S4C transmission. I honestly haven't verified it to be honest, as I wasn't there for his clutch job.
You just need a friend or two and some beers.
Yes sir that B16A2 tranny is bigger, heavier, and holds more oil than my F22A6 and H22A4 trannies.
