Huge tranny problems after installing new clutch. synchros are pretty much shot and pedal is very inconsistent. Decided to pull it and put new synchros in myself or have it done professionally. Any thing i should know about pulling motor and tranny before i get into it and any suggestions as far as synchros to use?

why would you pull the motor?

 

Don't you have the lower the engine to get the upper bolts that mount the tranny to the block? Maybe that's what he meant.
