Default 92 Civic with USDM GSR, rear hard to get in gear some times??????

Car acts like it does not want to go into gear some times. Just feels like I really have to fight it in. Not all the time but most of the time.

Any idea of what it is???????

It is a b18c usdm gsr with about 65xxx and the car is a 94 cx with 108xxx.

My '94 DX with '94 GS-R sometimes doesn't want to go into reverse sometimes.

So I put it in 1st (with the clutch still pushed in) and just run it through the gears...it seems to line everything up the right way

Just make sure you have the clutch pushed in all the way...I sometimes forget to do that when I'm driving it and it grinds

OK that was no help.... I have been building cars and driving them for 12 years now. I think it might be the clutch master.. or the pressure plate

this seems to happen to some hondas for some reason. my 94 ex did the same.
i would trow it in first, second, then reverse and it worked all the time.

maybe changing tranny fluid, see what happens. just make sure you stick with Honda MTF.
