Default swaping back to d16....

gonna rebuild the gsr i got in my hatch witch i still need somthing to drive so im just dropin a sohc vtec in there for the mean while.... but will the harness i got for the gsr work for the sohc??? or just go get one off a ex or somethin and i got a chipped p28 will need to change that too right??? its a 93 eg si

ps. if any thread about swappin engines in the year model on honda-tech can u post plz that would help!!!

its been 12 minutes since you started the thread and youre already complaining no ones responded?

ive never dealt with sohc motors lol so i wouldnt know.

i used a ex/si harness with my b18 so i would imagine you could do it the other way

i not sure if the b18c1 dizzy is obd1 and the d16 is obd1 so i would just plug and play????

i would recommend you get another harness so that way you can just go ahead and plug it up to the sohc and not need to change the harness back to the gsr

ran in to another problem the shift linkage... i cant get the shift *** off!!! and will it just drop out or how would i remove that?

ohh and the a/c compressor would i need to take it off to get to motor out???

I would do what ever it take to get that shift *** off, cause if you cant then your gonna need to cut your shift boot and need to buy another one, plus another shift *** for the sohc shifter.
