About to go in for a tune. Quick question
I'm finally going in for a tune (S100) Have done basic prev maint. Oil change, plugs wires, valve adjustment. Mods on car, Comptech Header, T1R exhaust, comptech Hi flow cat, aem cai, fpr and cam gears.
My question is, this car came with a test pipe (collecting dust in garage) and I'm wondering if it would be beneficial to put this back on for more power. I'm assuming the Hondata can clear any Cel's caused by the test pipe.
Side note: Located in Texas so smog isn't as critical

it doesnt matter. If you want more power, use the test pipe. If you don't want to smell like exhaust when u get out of your car, leave the cat on.
OBD1 ecu's dont use the secondary oxygen sensor, so it won't be throwing a code anyway.

You can disable UEGO sensor closed-loop feedback, disable the oxygen sensor heater, and then remove the primary oxygen sensor.
You can, but I like using closed loop. I was seeing 37 to 38 mpg on the highway with the blower on my car using closed loop
