obd1 check engine light on 91 crx

Default obd1 check engine light on 91 crx

i have an obd1 conversion on my b16 crx and i was wondering how i can check it?....i asked the guy i bought the car from and he doesnt know either. does anyone know by chance. i can turn the car off and no more check engine light but it happens some times it will go on and then i turn it off its gone! well thanks for looking hopefully someone can help...thanks brandon

check engine can most likely be anything ; usually it is an 02 sensor but I also can be wrong. hook up a scan tool to it and find out

u cant check on obd0 to obd1 conversion engine with a scaner.....

on your conversion harness you should have two wires not connected to anything. a ground and the ecu code checking wire. i hooked mine up to a switch. if you can figure out who makes the harness then you can figure out what wire they are.

if its a rywire harness its the blue and orange wire, jus touch them together and the light will blink

yes your harness should have 2 wires that should be hooked to a switch to check the codes

thanks guys i found out how to check it but i was trying to find out what wire it was.. so u guys say its the blue/orange wire then...thanks again my car wont startd after the check engine light on so i will see wat it is now... thanks again brandon

ok....now my car wont even start at all.....does anyone have any pictures of the blue and orange wires buy the ecu i need help... there are like 5 or 6 blues all of them are connected except one.. and there are 2-3 orange and all are connected hopefully someone should have it thanks brandon
