ok so my stock radio wasnt workin in my 00 si cause i needed the code so i decided to put my other deck into it. i used this wiring guide http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/HA-Wiring.pdf but the new deck wont work i hooked up the red yellow and black wire and everyone says that the new deck should light up or something but i did that and i got nothin. i know the deck works. on the link it says to connect the yellow wire to the white w/yellow stripe wire coming from the car but there is no white with yellow line wire. can anyone tell me the correct wires to hook up to each other from previous experience?

Has to be there.

Did you cut the factory plug off or did someone else?

What is the make and model of the HU, [your "other deck"]?
What did you connect the HUs yellow lead to?

The wiring guide is correct, the only one missing is the red/black illumination lead, [dash light dimmer lead].

I guess it is possible the wire is white/blue, I have seen a few pre 98 Honda/Acura with a white w/blue tracer instead of white w/yellow tracer, but have not seen a 99 up Honda/Acura with a white/blue, but I guess anything is possible. 94

 

well i figured it out there was a white with blue line not white with yellow and now it works i had a burnt fuse in the engine bay!!!
