d16y7 head?

Default d16y7 head?

ok heres the deal i have a 91 civic dx hatch with a bent valve. I also have a 99 d16y7 cyl head laying around along with intake and exhaust manifolds can i put the goods on the old d15? Thanks in advance for any help!

yes. is it sohc vtec? if so remember to remove oil jet plug for vtec. Enjoy vtec i know i am!

No, it's not VTEC. Don't listen to this guy.

OP, I think the head would swap over, not sure on the IM or EM though.

the heads are interchangable for d series sohc ones

you want to remove the oil jet between cylinder 2 and 3 because the y7 head has a built in slant style oil restricter in the head in that spot!!!!!!!! otherwise you will have half the oil pressure in the head. I know i was knocking away in my head till i figured it out. nice addition though. No computer changes needed and a compression boost along with bigger valves/better flow!!
