Default non-oem tails... do cops ever do anything about them?

Just saw this 94-01 "Type R" pulling a flyby on the hwy with some funky cheezy led taillights (the ones below).

I know they might be "tiiight" but it was scary as it was only dusk, and it was hard to even see his brakes come on . I'd rock a set of LED tails only if they looked like OEM but LEDs

who's down for these?!

Ewww...

The 2G DSM guys have a DIY for installing LEDs in the stock housings/lens, it looks VERY good. Especially the guys that go the extra step and hook up a syncronizer to each one, allowing for full control of each LED (i.e. Pretty cool lightshows).

I'll se your two and raise you another two, and I don't even have an Integra. Ballah.

Those things are terrible. As far as legalities go, there is a Federal basis for passenger car equipment requirements, but states will vary. I know here in Hawaii, a cop wouldn't even think twice about those. Back in Seattle, it would be pretty risky.

Only thing i know is if the brake lights can't be seen, doesn't matter how ricey or dark the tailights are, as long as you can see the brake lights and turn signals...

I F*$#@ hate LED's. Blinds me at night and sets off my V1. Same goes for HID's. The stock tails do just fine.
