I'm still a noob to the K series engine.... With a k24a1 block can you fit a k20a2 tranny perfectly or do you need to do any modifications?

yes it can fit and no modifications need to be done to it.

If you're thinking of putting an a2 tranny on a k24a1.. there would be no point Unless you are building the k24hybrid (which would of answered your question cuz if you look at what block is used, your answer is right there)
