Default Buyin GSR swapped CRX

Im buyin a gsr swapped 91 crx in alil and i have a few questions. First off what are people runnin with these? The one im buyin has a jdm gsr motor with a header, cat back, cai, and hi flow cat and it was tuned on a dyno with hondata. It also has other small stuff like a 255 fp, ls tranny with sum stage 3 clutch, short throw. Supposedly it only wieghs like 1800 pounds. Also its in good running condition. Seconf thing is, with a set of drag radials could it break mid 13's if its driven to potential? Thanks. By the way i own a foxbody mustang thats why my name is 91lxstang. Dont flame i like all cars.

The long geared LS tranny sucks unless you're going turbo.

I'd suggest the more tightly geared B16 tranny or maybe even a GSR tranny.

you are new, and you obviously didnt read that thread.

the best thing you will learn on H-T is the search function. despite what a lot of newbs say, it works really well.

i suggest you take the car to the track and find out. come back and post the slip. that way other new people that use the search function could see what their potential could be.

i did use the search forum and ive yet to find a timeslip or even sum1 stating what a gsr in a crx runs.... but i guess ill just have to guess...

also about the ls tranny, im not sure if thats what it is then if you say it has a higher gearset. I was told by the owner that it is a ls but is it normal to be at 4500-5000 rpm goin 85 on the highway in 5th gear with the ls tranny? cause ive test drove the car and thats what it runs.

Real cars are built not bought. Check for paperwork on the car. May be jacked.

I'm not sure what rpms it will be at when at a given speed. But, I do know that the lower gears are longer. A B16 and a GSR have much shorter gears which help with acceleration.

Yeah I thinks it's a b16 tranny too. Mine S1 tranny is at 5000 rpms at 80 mph. Check the tranny number.
