cracked rear tranny mount
you can weld it....thing is...you have to pull the tranny apart and clean the **** outta the inside of the housing where any oil came in conctact with it......
and you shold really drill each end of the crack so it doesn't spread more.
but if it is a known good tranny (aka no grinds, slides right into gear etc...) then it's probably worth it to pull it all apart and just have it TIG'ed by a good welder.

I had the same thing happen on the driver side engine mount. Car got into an accident and broke the mount off the block. We welded the peice back on and never had a problem years later.
