Swap was running, but now theirs no spark
My car was running and they it seemed like i let it set for like an hour and it wont start, Its not the coil, and i all the connections seem to be good. Could it be the main relay? with my old motor in my car it did the same thing like a day before i tore it out, it just tunred over but no start, so i said oh well the motor is comming out tomarrow.

prove there is no spark. hold each wire off the dizzy but close to it. crank the motor if you feel a shock its getting spark
also check all your grounds. improperly grounded motor wont do ****

A couple of times now I have had the wiring on the capacitor under the distributor crack and eventually break. That will definately cause no spark
I took the spark plug out an held it against a few place one the block/head and got nothing.Yesterday the starter would would only click so I hook a jumper cable from the tranny to the chassie and it spun over, then once I got the wires hooked up in the right order i turn it over again with the cables not conected and it started. Well i hooked then back up and it turn over but no fire. The grounds i have are Valve cover to chassie, tranny to chassie, one comming from the wire harness witch is hooked to the thermostat,as for a starter ground dosent it just ground out when one the tranny?
same happened to me last week. first check your ground wire to your thermostat. that was my problem. it was loose. the might as well check all your grounds. and yea could be the main relay. mine was bad to. they are pretty easy to go. heat will do it. hope it works out....check the basics first
Well it runs now and i just tightend the thermo ground and checked a few things over. So im wondering if it was the 1 1/2 extra turns i tightend the ground or the main relay decided to work?
