different clutch suggestions?
just looking 4some suggestions about what kind of clutch setup should i get for my ej8 civic coupe, beacuse my oem clutch is about to go out, any advice would be great?
If you aren't making significantly more power than stock, the OEM unit is perfectly fine. It's a good opportunity to install a lightweight flywheel, however.
sounds good beacuse when i go into 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear after i let go of the clutch it starts making a whinning noise and it sounds pretty serious?
i have a JDM B16A with exedy stage 2 and it gives a "stiffer" feel which i like... makes my shifting more positive a feels better... a fidanza 8lb flywheel with the exedy stage 2 is hard to beat.

Whining, like screeching metal or something of the like? Because I had that when I swapped my engine. Yes, I was impatient and just wanted the engine in the car without waiting for the clutch kit to come; mistake.
When I took the transmission out, the clutch plate was worn down past the pads, smooth, and the springs on it had been hitting the flywheel bolts and smoothing themselves out substantially. I would venture a guess that your clutch is in fact going out. Just go for the Exedy Stage 1 Organic replacement, new throwout bearing (as mentioned before, is included in most kits), and a lightweight flywheel.
Oh, a shortshifter could also be in order for you, while you're under your car. I really like mine.
