Default Car rev's itself while air conditonor is on??? Plus more

Today after I got done playing with my car I noticed while driving home, that with the air conditionr on the car would rev itself up to 2k, then drop to .5k continusly in neutral. Strange. When I finally got home, I popped the hood to see what the problem was, and it wouldnt do it. Now I have the heat shield off the stock headers, and the coolant tank is bone dry as well.

All these things are very strange. Do you guys think its possible that with the heat shield off the coolant evaporated due to the heat. Or the more likly there is a coolant leak somewhere? Its a realtivly new radiator.
As for the car reving by itself thats still a mystery, mabey the altenator is going bad???

IDK

I have also put on another new air intake. There was a little line on the intake manifold that I blocked up to as well. Should I unblock that and let it suck in unfiltered air?

What line did u block off, is it the return air line going from the valve cover to the intake?

No. Its the tiny little hose that runs from the intake manifold to the air intake pipe.

I have since then removed the plug that I stuck on there and have not had it happen since then.

I have no clue about the coolant. Im hoping it doesnt have a leak. I never bother to check it since Ive had the car, its been about 2 months since I got it, Im hoping it just dried up. But I will be keeping an Eye on it.
