problem with my gsr on my 99 civic

Default problem with my gsr on my 99 civic

i have a 1999 civic with a gsr and it dont seem to run right its kind of slow taking off could it be the v-tech or wut

if so can some one let me know how to wire up the v-tech

It's hard to help out when there is little information. Did you do this swap or did you buy the car with the swap? Secondly, Vtec, not Vtech, kicks in at 4,500 rpm.

Are you sure it is a GSR motor? Are your secondiarys working? What ECU are you running?

the car was running fine at first but the other day it starter to expletive up the car lost alot of power (could it be the timing belt????)

Check Engine Light = CEL.

What codes is your car throwing if any? Have them scanned. Autozone does it for free.

Your problem could be 1589816876851698768168765167987 billion things.

Need more information.

VTEC kicks in at 4500rpm (GSR ECU). Secondaries open at 6k (if they're working).

TAKE IT TO AUTOZONE. THEY CHECK CELS FOR FREE. THEY WILL GIVE YOU THE CODE. DECIPHER THE CODE USING THE LINK ABOVE.
