Can i use my stock 1998 civic clips with the dsm injectors, or would i have to get dsm clips.

Obd2 98 clips wont work.

Dsm clips or Obd0/Obd1 Honda clips
You could also use Precision/Rc clips

you mean 98 OBD2 clips wouldnt fit?

my obd1 injector clips didnt fit
i had to cut the tab on the dsm injector to fit

OBD2 to OBD1 conversion harness will fit. no cutting or solder

I had to as well, but nothing a small pair of snips couldnt handle. 2 minutes and i had them all done. I wouldnt waste the money on anything else, just snip the small tab and be done with it. Fits like a glove after that

 

i went to the junkyard to snip some obd1 clips, but the metal piece that holds the injector in place wasnt there. can i use the ones from my obd2 clips?
