b20 vs b18

Default b20 vs b18

i want to built a motor from scratch just a block ... i dont know if to go with a b20 or b18 . i am looking for something that is relieble and later go on boost i am also putting a b16 on any of them .... please help

Uh...what? What do you mean, "also putting a B16 on any of them?" Put a B16 on a B18 or B20?

If you want a reliable motor, go with the b18 (Ls) especially if you’re going to be boosting. The LS have thicker sleeves from the factory and can handle more abuse. next time remember to be more specific and try searching first. There seems to be a lot of people on here with a big sense of humor. Good luck with your build.

sure.. i think hes talking about putting a b16 HEAD on either of the blocks. let me know if you need help with anything else.
